This board is a part of Craig’s collection and is a classic Ed Sinnott shape from the Skipp surfboard stable of shapers. Skipp surfboards was started by John Skipp in Wollongong south coast of NSW. Skippy as he known is a true gentleman and all round nice guy. He helped get Wollongong on the map as far as surfing in the early days revolved around the Sydney manufacturers and not too many outlying board builders could compete with the Brookvale six. Skippy was a gifted shaper, but more than that he trained a variety of young talented guys to shape and became the father of south coast surfing.
