This board was made at the illustrious Barry Bennett factory. Barry is one of the pioneers of the surfing industry and has had nearly every shaper work for him at varying times over the years. Bennetts has always been renowned for quality boards made by some of the best in the industry. The outline of this board is very interesting as I was shaping around this time and most were narrower in the tail and were a dog to get used to, where this one has enough width to make it a lot easier to transition from the older malibu to this innovation.
